Aftermath

by the one you forgot   Nov 7, 2005

Wants control
Of life,
Doesn't want to die of some disease.
In a year,
Might be gone
Because of such a terrible thing.
Wants to end it,
End it now,
So he controls his death date.
Doesn't want to be controlled
By such a tiny thing.
Wants control
Of life,
So tonight he'll take both.
Take control by
Taking his life.
Should be a win-win
Except for all those left behind,
Forced to believe the truth.
Everyone dressed in black.
Only thought of what he wanted,
Not what could come next.
Didn't think about the aftermath.
And now he's gone,
No chance to come back,
From this new found fate.
But he never thought of the
Aftermath.
