Confused Mind and Heart

I'm sitting here alone
With so much on my mind
I have so many questions in my head
But the answers I cannot find
I hate feeling one way
And feel like the feeling was wrong
It's like going out trying to find love
Something you've been worthy of for so long
I have something else confused
My heart....yes it plays a role
It's being crushed as of right now
My heart is no longer whole
My mind and heart is in the middle of a battle
Trying to connect with my soul and become one
Sitting here waiting patiently
For the victory I should have won
