So Blind To Love(Mathew's Point Of View)

by SMILEoften   Nov 8, 2005

I walked with her in the park. Her loose jacket hung loose to her slender body. Oh God, she was so beautiful. Her bright green eyes in the contrast to her dark hair made her look so luscious. The sunset reflected against her pale skin, making her look a peach-type color. I wish she knew how I felt. I wish she knew how badly I just wanted to hold her hand, let alone hold her! Mathew walked beside Rosella, keeping up with her pace. He wore jeans and a gray sweatshirt, and his hazel eyes looked into the sun. He wondered if Rosella ever thought of him more then a friend. If she even knew how he felt. He didn't think she did know how he felt. And for this, he felt sad. He just wanted to be more then friends.
Mathew knew that Rosella and him were quite different. Rosella liked a lot of poetry and stuff, while he liked just talking about how he felt. He loved seeing Rosella smile, and gaze at him, when he told her a wonderful dream or feeling he had. Mathew was quite a good listener, and understood when Rosella was sad or unhappy. And she understood his feelings, too.
Mathew sprawled out the paper, and got out a pen, He bit is fingernail, and thought. "I can't even rhyme, and her I find myself writing a poem." he mumbled to himself. This is what love does to you, he thought. It was love. He knew it was. He couldn't stop thinking about Rosella. He just wanted to call her and yell "I LOVE YOU ROSELLA!" and run down the road to kiss her. He was crazy, fantasizing about her like this. He just wanted her to love him; for more then a friend. He wanted her to help to fill his soul with pure greatness. He wanted her to shower him with kisses and hugs, while he would to the same to her. He wrote all of his feelings into one poem, and decided that he would never show it to Rosella. He crumpled it up, and shoved it in the corner of his room, along with some other odds and ends. "She'll never know" he whispered to himself, feeling down.

He felt so Blind To Love.

~``I also have Rosella's version, if you have read this first. Thank you for reading this piece!
