Goddess (my horse)

by cowgirlstar26   Nov 8, 2005

Head held high
eyes ablaze like fire
when anyone see's her
they ask "who's her sire"

like a new penny
her chestnut coat shines
I'm proud of her
this horse I call mine

muscles ripple upon each movement
she's so close to perfect,
there's no room for improvement

with the speed of a fleet goddess
that's how she got her name
an angelic figure, that will take your breath away

when she runs down a road
her hooves sound like thunder
people look out
and stare in wonder

her beauty undefined
speed unmatched
she'll turn and burn
a barrel in a flash

the crowds scream
as we reach the time line
on to the college finals
my love for her won't ever die

she has saved my life
and I have saved hers
were like 2 spirits in one
only she has fur

two young hearts
wild and free
when I sleep at night
it's about this horse I dream
