Muffled whispers in the night,
Trying to hear the words,
The first time I got such a fright,
I was thinking "How quite absurd?"...

I touch your hand in my dreams,
And I wake up flowing tears,
I hate the morning sunlight,
It brings out all my fears,

Knowing that your gone,
I feel the greatest grief,
I depend on sleeping pills to put me straight to sleep...

Then in the dark some nights I wake,
and I hear your humble voice...
You say, "I’m sorry my sweet love, but I didn’t have a choice"...

You were the burning sun,
But now your just a star,
Burning so brightly,
But shining oh so far...

The sunlight’s now a decoy,
A fake and untrue light,
I can only be with you late within the night...

I'm scared to turn around my love,
To see your gorgeous face,
I’m so sorry you wait for me in this unkind, evil place...

One day we'll meet again,
And ill hold you in my arms,
And next to you in the sky ill be one of those bright stars...
