Life Is Complicated Enough (Quatern)

by Simon Hayes   Nov 8, 2005

Life is complicated enough
Many trials and tribulations
Good things slowly become so rough
Never meet your expectations

Cannot rest your head, rest your mind
Life is complicated enough
Your thoughts begin to twist and bind
Concentration becomes too tough

Working forward into the bluff
Clouds emerging, blinding the way
Life is complicated enough
Only time can blank out the day

Finally things come to an end
Finally time to shed the slough
You find a friend, an ear to lend
Life is complicated enough

Life is like that, but hey, if it were easy, then it wouldn't be so fun. Learning all these new things and meeting new people, I think it's great. Well written poem indeed my friend :)

    Simon,

Very thoughtful write, life is sometimes full of so many twists and turns which you have no control over and be so cruel.

Many things often do not appear as they seem are hidden beneath a fake appearance and exterior. But always time will show what is true and what is false.

    A good write.

    Best regards,

    Steve
