Dirty Secret

Dirty Secret

All is all
Your family at war
A curious you are
You open the door
A book is sealed
With a lock stronger than most
You open it up
Your expression like you've seen a ghost
You thought so peaceful
But now you see the chaos
Trying to keep your lips sealed
Your sister says "Please promise."
With everything so dreadful
You wish you could be honest
Even though no one knows the dirty secret
They're acting like everything depends on you
So you're not sure if you can keep it
Even though that is all you can do
You could end everything now
Your dad could come home
Your town would not be on fire
You want to say aloud
But your lips feel like they're tied
If they asked
You would have to lie
Because the dirty secret you must hide
You remember the day
You opened the door
You promised your sister
But the secret is hard to ignore
A dirty secret
That can never be said
It will never be opened again
You remember the day
And curious you
A door led to another
And this one can never be shut
Life will always be chaos
Because curious you
You opened the door
And youâ??re stuck with the dirty secret
