Behind Glass

by the one you forgot   Nov 8, 2005

Feel like I'm living
Behind glass.
Can't touch,
Can only see
The happy lives people lead.

Look out to children playing,
Put my hand on the glass.
Haven't laughed in
How long?
Haven't smiled in
How long?

Getting tired of watching lives
Behind glass.
Smash the glass into
A billion tiny pieces.

Getting tired to living this life
Behind glass.
Sit on the floor,
Surrounded by shards of glass.
Grab a piece,
And cut my wrists.
So red it's brown,
I'm surrounded by my own blood.
I'm dying now.
