Broken Glass

by the one you forgot   Nov 8, 2005

It wasn't meant to last,
Broken glass,
This life of mine,
My only escape.
Want to end it,
So sharp, painfully so.
So find your weapon,
Cut your wrists,
Or rather your savior,
Watch the skin break,
And bring it to your skin.
Watch the blood pour out.
The skin, it breaks,
So red it's brown,
Just like your heart.
You don't feel the pain anymore.
But that hurts so much more.
Shattered hearts,
Heartache,
Painless,
Heartbreak,
Broken dreams,
It never ends, does it?
You have none to break.
You think he's the one,
Only your skin and veins can be broken,
But in the end,
And now they are,
You end up hurting,
The pain is such a relief to you,
So much more than the last.
Physical pain means
So much more.
Not feeling emotional pain.
