Buy (Who Cares?)

by the one you forgot   Nov 8, 2005

You buy her classes,
So she can get into concerts.
But money doesn't buy my way into things,
No, I work hard and earn it.
But when was the last time
I had your pride,
And you didn't focus on her?
She gets attention every time she moves,
I get attention every time I fail.
But when I earn my awards,
What do we focus on?
Her.
Who cares if I beat out everyone,
If she get's 7th place?
If I get 2nd place,
But you buy her a solo,
Who cares about me?
If I'm part of a winning team,
Who cares because she can blow her nose?
Congratulations, Nicolette, you can use a Kleenex!
Hey, let's buy you flowers!
Who cares that I work hard?
Sure as hell not you.
