Only Human

I walk around the ring once more
I stumble, i fall down
My face is white my eyes are red
And i am just a clown
You laugh and youre too blind to see
The pain thats in these eyes
You cant see me underneath
or look past this disguise

Im flying free and steady
I am fragile,i could die
From just a single touch, you see
I'm just a butterfly
You cannot come too close to me
Although you are sincere
I cant trust anybody
I cant let you come too near

You pull my hair out at the roots
And cut into my skull
You throw me round without a care
For i am just a doll
I always wear my happy face
I flirt and i act coy
For i know i'll be thrown out soon
For a prettier, shinier toy

You laugh and watch me suffer
You know that i am weak
I don't matter to any of you
For i am just a geek
Dont expect me to be perfect
All-knowing and all-seeing
Maybe now you will realise that
I am a human being

    Cute....I like the content...very strong and deep...but to be honest...it didn't flow very well...but still...I really like it...

    Yea i just thought about it yea its a good poem but i never wrote like that wen i was your age not that your a babby or anything

    its like watching through the eyes of buterfly its all cute and all when you see a poppy playing with a buterfly but, the buterfly could die and he knowes it
