I'm Still Waiting

by Betsy Price   Nov 8, 2005

Taste the pain of the rain
On my open sores,
Feel the burn, it's my turn
for endless suffering
Hear my tears, from my fears,
of all our memories,
and I'm still waiting
Eveyday is all the same,
I can't escape your face
I try to hide and run away
but still your spirit stays
I try to find the strength inside to just walk away
but I'm still waiting for you
In my world of black and blue
I lay and think of you
On my own so alone
I lay and cry for you
I tried to hard, we tried to long
and now your love is gone
But I'm still waiting
Everyday is all the same I can't escape your face,
I try to hide and run away
but still you spirit stays,
I try to find the strength inside to just walk away,
but I'm still waiting for you
Look in the mirror can you deny you see my face,
I can't believe that it was all just a waste
I'm sick of hoping
I'm sick of waiting
I'm sick of wanting
I'm sick of craving for you....
