I've gone though it in my head,
Many times and then again,
So that when the time comes,
I can be free from the pain.

My heart is in my throat,
And pounding in my chest,
I'm waiting for the right moment,
So I better give it my best.

The chance is near,
Of that I'm sure,
To tell this girl,
Of love so pure.

Love so rich and just for her,
I wish I could tell her how I feel,
To change this from a fantasy,
And make it into something real.

So how does she feel about me,
I'm going to ask her one-day maybe,
I wonder what fates got in store,
I'm going to have to wait and see.
