Let's look back,
On the time we were together.
Everything was different,
And so much better.
I'd give anything,
To go back through time.
To relive those days,
That I got to call you mine.
We thought we were perfect,
We thought we were so meant to be.
I will never understand,
What even happened to you and me.
Every love song now,
Hurts to listen to.
Seems like every little thing,
Reminds me of you.
And every time I listen to our song,
It brings tears to my eyes.
Knowing it's not ours anymore,
Makes me want to cry.
Maybe one day,
We really can relive those days.
Maybe I can have my baby boy back,
And he'll be here to stay.
Maybe the timing isn't right,
But we are really meant to be.
Either way I'll always love you,
And I guess we'll just have to see.
