Today, I Wish, I Was, We Were - 10/11/2005

Today I saw her smile,
It feels I haven't seen it,
For a life time,
Since our last split.

I wish in a way we never ended,
I wish, I hope you feel the same,
I wish I can reach out,
Tell you everything, including my blame.

I wish I could tell you,
That my poems 'have you ever?',
And 'I miss you' are just for you,
I just thought we would never sever.

I was wrong, in my heart,
I still need you, I did the wrong,
Now I'm asking for her back,
As my friend, to sing and to hear another song.

We were once great friends,
But as I do, I messed up,
With the only one I ever trusted.
Cared for, now I miss her like a kid and a pup.

I don't expect her to fall back,
Into my lonely arms,
With everthing we had together, Right now I can only give her my charms.

Dedicated to a beautiful girl that I messed up on and lost her. I have never found it so hard to tell someone how much they mean to you after everything you did to them. I don't expect her to want to ever care but least one day she will realize that everything about her I love and miss. I just hope that one day she can mend my heart like every time she has before and everytime she made me laugh and everytime she made me cry. God girl I miss those days with you. And the poem called 'I wish I had you, once again' is for this girl too.
