Fake Smile

by ~!@Sadie@!~   Nov 10, 2005

She sits and waits on her window seal.
Wishing this was all a dream and never real.
Losing the ones she loves.
One by one they fall.
Dropping like dead flies, gone...all.
Walking through the streets making a smile form.
It isn't real, her heart is torn.
Left by her father when she was only six.
He was her hero, now hes gone away.
Theres nothing that would have made him stay.
She cries her self to sleep every lonely night.
Not many know about all the fights.
Slapped across the face and age ten.
She never wanted to go, never again.
He left her moms house, but came back later.
She thought he was gonna kill her, she hide under the covers.
A scared little girl so lost and so alone.
All she wanted was a place that she could call home.
She was scared of her mother, her father and her self.
She messed up immensely and couldn't correct it herself.
She ran away many times, always wanting to go further.
She finally overdosed, She wasn't a very fast learner.
She never meant to do it. But the pain was just so strong.
She almost took her life, for the man that made her strong.
He laughed at her disposal, made her feel even worse.
By that time she wanted to be in a hearse.
She wanted to die, so much it hurt.
She wanted to forget all the people that she loved.
She faked a smile the whole time, acting like nothing was wrong.
People could tell though they never told her they could.
They wanted to make her feel better, the way she should.
But that never happened not for a while.
She took the drugs, fought the battles and came back stronger.
She went to juvi, ran away some more.
Everything was a blur and she was locked behind a door.
She faked some more smiles to show them she was fine.
They all knew better and told her to be fine.
She knew it wasn't possible so she laid in her bed at night.
Dreaming of the ways she would die the next night.
Something changed her mind, something that was new.
She met someone who helped her be un-blue.
Her dark gray sky that was once cast upon.
It floated away and the sun shown down.
She smiled for once that wasn't fake.
She met a man that made her knees shake.
By this time she isn only 15, she may be young,
But love is never obseen.
They are engaged, they love eachother so.
Now her fake smile slowly fades away.
She no longer keeps it around, it has no point to stay.

Wow *shivers* This could have been me. Wow. I was also 15 when I met my boyfriend. And I'm 18 now, and we are still together. He really helped me through some tough times. It's breath taking, and I can relate to it. Very well done.
