Living a lie

Drowning in your tears,
yet you don't notice mine,
your on the outside looking in,
to you everything seems fine,
but its not,
you wouldn't understand,
i just need someone to lean on,
someone to take my hand,
please awake me from this nightmare,
the nightmare of my life,
my hand is shaking now,
as I'm holding up the knife,
you cant save me from myself,
for now you are to late,
there is no point,
life, i just cant tolerate,
don't follow in my footsteps,
its not a good path to choose,
for i have nothing to gain,
and everything to lose,
so i have to say good bye,
I'm better off this way,
i hated living a lie.
