Life's Riddle

by The Depression Bard   Nov 10, 2005

Insanity reaches it's all time high,
When I can't stand to say hi.
I avoid you because you are so dark,
But you definately left your mark.
Surrounded by flames of large regret,
Reminds me of the day we met.
I started out shy, not really your friend,
Later, I felt I'd know you till the end.
But things changed,got turned around,
Our life long friendship fell to the ground.
I cried, I wept, I bawled a little,
Perplexed by life's confusing riddle.
