realize you made a mistake
you weren't on the right track
because you feelings were fake

you said "i love you and always will"
i think it was like not love
you just got caught in the thrill
your not my perfect white dove

but now you say we're on a break
and we should just give it a week
how much pain must i take
before you stop playing hide and seek

I'm suspicious of what you said
do you really want me back
the thought swimming in my head
says I'll feel another blow to the sack

see i think there's someone new
and I'm just the backup guy
and if you and him fall through
then you'll give us another try

soon i will depart

you think your funny and slick
