Freedom

by The Depression Bard   Nov 10, 2005

Thanks for all you've given me,
It's enough to set me free,
Freedom from my cage,
free to release all my rage.
In my final hour of despair,
I will be anything but unfair.
Your lies released me from my bars,
But each one you told me gave me a scar.
But by now I see that at this rate,
Not even I control my fate.
But for my freedom I am glad,
Unfortunately its driving me mad.
