I'm Steppin' into Depression
A new phase in my life
And maybe when I get in there
It will take away all of the strife

The strife that you caused me
The words that you said
The looks that haunted me
Wishing I was dead

Because love, my dear, is not a game
It's the only thing out here that will keep you sane
Sane from this world where there's war and hate
A world where sometimes its too late

But it's probably my fault
I mean I've never even said a word to you
But that doesn't mean you can tear me apart
Just like you always do

So I'm Steppin' into Depression
And Tears flood my eyes
Because I know that once I get in there
I'll never again see the skies.
