I ask you how your doing,
you say your just fine.
deep down secretly,
i hope that you are lying.

I want you to tell me that you miss me,
and that your feelings never left,
that you ignoring me and not calling,
was only a test.

But i do know the truth
and for me its never good,
you've moved on and your now happy,
just like i knew you would.

I've seen you around
with somebody new,
i knew me and you
was too good to be true.

My life has been shattered
and its my heart that had to break,
just because it was her hand
that you reached out to take.

But we talk every now and then
and i always tell you that I'm doin' okay,
i make sure to hide the tears on my face
as you turn and walk away.
