Insecurities

by the one you forgot   Nov 11, 2005

I know you so well,
Inside out.
But now I'm almost afraid,
Of your opinion of me,
And these insecurities are killing me.
I know you so well,
So why am I worrying?
Don't tell you some things,
In case it will affect you opinion of me,
Even though I know it's stupid.
And I don't get it.
So comfortable around you,
But the distance is awful,
And I know it's tearing us apart,
No matter what we do.
You share so much,
But I feel like I'm shy around you,
And can't bring myself to talk.
So I'm sorry,
But it's killing me, being here.
Don't do anything,
Because I can only live in memories.
But I can't.
And that's slowly killing me.
