I love loving you

by SammiBABY   Nov 11, 2005

You’d think after all this time I would have learnt my lesson,
That after all that happened, there would be no repression.
You’d think after hate, this love would not exist.
But so solidly and surprisingly here it still persists.

I know we can’t be, but facts don’t change my mind,
I can’t shake my attraction, I can’t leave it behind.
I don’t know what it is but when I look in your eyes,
It doesn’t matter what you say I’m so mesmerised.

People might say I’m crazy for falling for you,
Because nothing can happen even if you knew.
But you are so perfect, it’s better for me to define,
What perfection is to me, though I know you won’t be mine.

I must confess that sometimes it’s hard for me to admit,
That you mean so much to me and to you I don’t mean a bit.
But deep down I know, this thought is nothing new,
And I accept this happily because I love loving you.
