I used to be an angel,
but now the devil in me has shown.
i used to be innocent,
but now that is just a word.
i used to be kind,
but now i am cruel,
i used to be trusting,
but now in my eyes no one is true.
i used to be able to love,
now that gift i have no more.
i used to be able to laugh,
but now it is forced.
i used to see the good in life,
but now im in darkness,
my soul was once filled with light,
but now only taunts penetrate the darkness.
