The Devil Took Over

I was only,
Two years old,
When I acquired this horrible fate,
She took the gun,
Pulled the trigger,
Then it was to late.

All the days,
I would sit and wonder,
What could I have done,
Then I realized,
No one could,
The devil had already won.

So my friends,
This is what happens,
When cancer comes through,
It takes a loved one,
From your arms,
Leaving nothing but you.
