Sung Heroes

To all veterans I sing
Let glorious freedom ring
Your lives have paid the cost
Liberty is not lost

With victory close by our side
We honor soldiers who have died
Lost causes must bear the guilt
Of the blood that has been spilt

I salute those who gave their sanity
For a brave nation full of vanity
Our debt to them cannot cease,
In times of war, or in times of peace
