Stinkin' Imagination!

I'm here by myself, alone
as the breeze starts to get cold.
I don't really need anybody
because its you I wanna hold.

Gazing at the dark,blue sky
and humming songs we used to sing.
These winds in the cold, dark night
your memories they bring.

As I watch the stars brighten the night
I see your eyes, at me they stare.
Convinced that its only an imagination,
I said to myself, "I don't care."

I started thinking of you more
as tears keep running down my cheeks
Because I miss you a lot
but you're as far as the mountains' peaks.

All of a sudden, I saw a shadow
that almost caused me fright.
As it wiped away my tears,
in the dark, chilly night.

As I turned around my back
to see who's hiding in the shadow.
I fell down on my knees
'coz it was just an imagination I know...
