My Mom

Such a special person in my life,
For me you've always been there,
So many bonds we have together,
So many qualities we share,

Throughout my life I could turn to you,
When I was feeling lost,
You always knew what to say,
Helping me out at any cost,

At times when I would feel alone,
You would come and comfort me,
Saying that I will be alright,
Opening my eyes to see,

Every time I make a mistake,
You help me out of my hole,
I can't explain the love I have,
But I know it continues to grow,

Do you remember all the Halloweens we had,
When you would drag me in the rain,
Side by side getting mounds of candy,
Without you my life wouldn't be the same,

When I'm confused you help me out,
The right advice you're always giving,
Just being able to say you're my mom,
Makes my life worth living,

I don't think I can say it enough,
For you've just done so much,
You are like my guardian angel,
My life you've really touched
