Life Long Racism

by Anthony   Nov 11, 2005

Cracker, White Banana,
The names that made my childhood hell.
No one to calm me down,
Stuck without a soul to tell.

Feelings of resentment,
Course through my veins like poison,
All my feelings buried deep,
Bubbling, rising to the surface of my unconscious.

Jumped in back alleys,
Made fun of by those in power.
Others free to run and torment,
While I am forced to cower.

Karma hasn't passed it's judgment,
And I'm forced to hold my own,
Left in the shadow of racism,
A shadow still over grown.

Oreo and snow boy,
A mutt of the human race.
This Racism kills inside me,
And I've feared I've lost my place.

Until the day I'm avenged,
I fear there will be no peace,
No peace for those who suffer,
Those who suffer just like me...

    Anthony ,
There is such a stronge message in this poem that I wish the whole world would see ..
Anthony I know you just from our group and your posts and I feel your pain but I also feel your strength ..
Your determination to spread the cruelty of rascism will make a difference . Even baby steps eventually grow into leaps ...
You are beautiful inside and out no matter of race or color ....
Love ya sweets , and I still think you're a hottie ......Muah !!!!
