All broken up

My days,my weeks,my years,they all slip away like sand through an hourglass.
i observe helplessly on the sidewalk as i have lost all hope,faith and thrust in everything and everyone around me.

a shadow has been casted on my life,
and i fight desperately to free myself from this
but nothing i do seems to work.

my heart has been shattered into millions of pieces
and maybe it can be put back together,
but it has been broken so many times
that some of the pieces are lost forever.

i will admit i am afraid and i don't wanna risk another chance of getting hurt again
but my worst fear is wondering if i'll ever get over this and move on in life.

it's true that everything happens for a reason,
and the heartless actions of the people who meant the world to me,
broke me up inside,
it's ok i guess,
it made me stronger.
