Missing You

I have this best friend,
we've been friends since we were four
but then one day she moved away
I watched her walk out the door.

I cried so many tears that day,
when my best friend left
she moved away.

Through the years we keep in touch
I still miss her very much.
She comes to visit once in a while,
She better invite me when she walks down the isle.

My friend and I are very close
I wish she lived near by,
Now that I think, it wasn't for the best
If I said it was, I'd be telling a lie.

I miss her a lot through the teen years.
but I've moved on and so has she,
I feel we don't like the same things,
now we do things differently

But even though we're different
we are alike in many ways,
I miss you and you miss me
that's enough to last for days.
