I am deaf, and your poem has really touched me, it is really lonly and i had never really talked to a deaf person befor six months ago, i am 15 almost 16 and i have only 1 friend that understands what it is like to be deaf, i have 3 sisters and find it hard to get my point across, but i like my disabiatly its made me who i am and i am proud of it i would change it for the worl. i don't want you or anyone else to feel sorry for me i just want to spread the message that we are alone and life can be hard sometimes but i wish you all the best and i am glad that you wrote this poem it is really inspiring |
Hey how are you ... you don't know me at all of course but i feel the same way how you wrote that poem.. wanna know why.. cause I am also deaf as well.. im 15.. my name is victoria and I feel the same way but except im hard of hearing.. but I always have gotten teased about it.. just so you know.. you 're not the only one.. finally a person with a hearing disability on poetry.... I have been searching for a while looking if anybody with hearing disability was doing poetry as well.. well I had fun.. hopefully we can talk sometime.. well it was nice meetin ya.. ttyl |
