A Still Dark (Part 3)

*Note* This is part 3 of an 7 poems series, 7 for each day my baby is gone, and 1 for when i can see her again!

Staring alone into your picture
Sitting motionless on my bed
I lay down and slowly think
Of everything that's been said

The want of our future is held
The desire to be us forever
Nothing has gotten in between
Our love is kept within however

Night by night we share our hearts
Day by day we link our hands
We smile at each others grin
We know what our future plans

Until you return to my eyes
I'll keep planning and writing
Until you return to my lips
I'll be looking for my own lighting

Your grin, only on this piece of paper
Will only have to hold me for time
I'll slowly pray with these words
And trying to find the right rhyme

It's only 4 more days at the least
Till the baby of my dreams appears
When you receive this love poetry
It's full of love, and full of tears

I'll count down by the hour
I'll count down with the clock
You'll always and forever
Hold the key to my heart lock
