Imagine, The war, If no-one survived, The sun may fall, Break, and refuse to rise, Whimper, and cry, with sore eyes, Bewildered, that it managed to stay alive, Its glow, its fire, drifts, fades, dying away, We stand, hand in hand, together and pray today, Glad that soldiers returned home, safe, to families and all, Today they are honoured, aged, wise and standing tall, We are free, proud, grateful for their call, Thankful that many men continued to crawl, When they had fallen, and broke, And nearly refused to rise, Cried with sore eyes, For this war, Please remember, Imagine.
