One Secret

It all started with one person
She was a really good friend
We'd sit together on the bus
It seemed our friendship would never end

But soon the problems began
She soon became annoying
I didn't want to hurt her
So thats when I started lying

On the bus others hated her too
but she was away that day
We began discussing her bad traits,
Her friend overheard, there was hell to pay

Her friend went and told her
That's what happened apparently
I told her I was sorry
and she accepted my apology

Later that week, she told me one secret
My lying went too far
She told me one secret
her honesty passed the bar

She told me one secret,
I had to blab, I had to tell,
Her friend overheard ...
My life is now hell
