Go Back to Yesturday

I'd like to press rewind
but I'm still stuck on play
leave the present behind
and go back to yesterday

if i had a time machine
i would go back in time
reverse what has been
which had no reason or rhyme

fast forwarding would be good
to over come it quickly
because standing where I'm stood
i only feel sickly

if only i could elect
that life was a DVD
then i could just eject
and i wouldn't have to see
