Madness Of Amber.

by Daphne Darling   Nov 12, 2005

In far off lands where Angels sing,
I’ve danced with Demons and Devils,
In places of great beauty and love,
I’ve died and been born over again.

In the lands of immortals and mortals,
I’ve lived along and been named an outcast,
In lands most known for tolerance,
I’ve been shunned and thrown in the gutter.

I’ve travelled traveled plains and planets,
Known almost every society existing,
I’ve lived among most known civilisations,
And learnt lessons none else has seen.

I’ve done away with both evil and good,
I’ve killed the innocent and guilty alike,
But I’ll tell you this, I’ve not been phased,
Never even blinked an eye in shame.

Most people I’ve known through time,
Have moved onwards, acceded to glory,
Friends and foes alike leaving me behind,
Never missing me, forgetting me completely.

But I’ve been luckier than most,
I gained all my memories of past lives,
Before an immortal ever really should,
A luck or a curse I could never tell.
