Trees

by Animus   Nov 12, 2005

Trees
Old as the earth,
Branching their way
through history.
Living, dieing, producing.
From a small seed
to a colossal monster,
They grow and live for thousands of years and then die, leaving nothing but a dead skeleton of what it once was.
Leaves of every color are what make fall an "Indian Summer."
From purple to red,
Orange to green,
Leaves bring an array of colors to our eyes.
Without trees there would be no life.
For trees produce oxygen.
Oxygen we need to survive.
Without us there would be no trees.
For we produce carbon dioxide.
Carbon dioxide that trees need to survive.
So you see, by cutting trees down we will surely die out.
Trees, God's gift to humanity,
God's gift of life.
