Teenagers

There's this little girl, she had alot of friends
or so she thought, and quickly that did end.
Phone was ringing she answered it that night,
all her friends asked her to come out but, something wasn't right.
Yet, she chose to go and hang around,
when she got there her life turned upside down.
A bunch of her friends circled her and glared
they started to push her and all she did was stare.
Stare at the people she thought were her friends,
and now her heart slowly begins to mend.
Around the corner i'l show you this young guy.
Who chooses bad things, such as getting high.
He's throwing his life away and there's nothing we can do.
Now he's feeling stupid, and always blue.
Up these stairs there are girls that think their fat,
they stopped eating and now guess where their at?
They lie in a hospital bed, because people chose not to care
and at this moment all they do is stare.
Stare at their stomachs still thinking their big,
attending help because people call them pigs.
A little down the hall you'll notice a boy.
He smiles and he laughs but at home he has no toys.
His family tends to hit him, and yet he stands tall.
Hiding all his misery in that darkened hall.
Sure he'll get older, but all those dark thoughts stay.
His mind races and he wants to run away.
At home a beautiful girl cries, as she watched herself die,
on her wrists are scars from all those painful times.
So she cut her wrist again, so no one else can hurt her heart.
Shes sick and tired of falling apart.
Now let me take you to the attic where there stands a boy and girl,
close your eyes for a moment and then begin to twirl.
Can you feel those butterflies well that's exactly how they feel,
about eachother this love is what we call real.
Their parents don't believe it, and keep them far apart
everyday the girl is crying as the boy heals his broken heart.
These people are called teenagers, i see this everyday.
Crying, drugs, love and sadness, theres not much more to say.
