Simple Girl

by Sara   Nov 13, 2005

I am at the age 14,
But my life is never as easy as it seems,
I may be blond, that is true,
But I have friends to help me out of the blue.

I recently moved in from richmond,
And most of that past, was quickly behind,
But I found some friends so great,
That were just as crazy,
And none to late.

Last year I was depressed,
My life was so dull and very messed,
But my two friends cheer me up,
Bring me to reality with a bump.

I worked through the sadness,
And I tried my best,
With all my authority,
To live my live normally.

However some things that triggered,
Like sun chips, go figure
Made my remember my old school,
Full of rumors, cheating, and no rules.

Recently thought, I have done,
Old habits full of morbid fun,
Drinking, smoking, cutting my wrist,
All on my horrible, but small list.

As soon as my friends knew,
They nagged me until my brain was goo,
Though in the end I did stop,
Didn't want to begin trouble with a cop,

I'm a simple girl at the age 14,
But my life is never as easy as it seems,
My friends have barely brought me though,
I hope if you're like me you will find help too.
