Hurting you

I lost a love i never knew.
because I didn't see.
I thought this was just a thing,
but now were done
your gone for good
my heart is broken
my tears fall like rain from the sky.
How do you know when your in love?Is it some thing you just know?
did I make a mistake,
if I feel this way?
you were so good to me
why didn't I see?
I thought we were to young
that we needed sometime.
you told me not to leave,
but I felt I had to.
I thought I was hurting you
becus I didn't feel the same.
I thought this was best for you.
But now I wonder if I did it for ME.
you can lose friends
and not be scared for life.
but to lose a love
never leaves your heart or your mind.
I no I'll never mend
and love wont be the same
but at least i know how love feels when it comes along
so if some one who reads this poem and wonts to end a relationship
just think
'how are you gonna be with out them? are yo gonna be happy, or are you hoping to be happy?'
