My morbid identity

by Tainted Beauty   Nov 13, 2005

Darkness surrounds,
As my lungs collapse,
The cool air taunts me,
As I gasp,
Terror stricken,
They panic,
In suffocation,
I become frantic,
They reach for my hand,
Not sure how to save me,
My mind goes blank as I fall to my knees,
Tears stream,
Down my cold, stone face,
My lungs fill with blood,
A cold, metallic taste,
Twitching and tangled,
I lose control of my body,
I slap them away,
As they try to stable me,
So close to death,
But I can still feel this pain,
I moan in agony,
As the blood bursts from my veins,
My eyes roll back,
You can see their bloody whites,
I grip the pavement,
Am I going to die tonight?
I think my stomach is churning,
Oh please death; Im so close to it,
My whole body lurches,
As I begin to vomit.

this poem is not finished yet, i need to come up with an ending but if you want to comment on it now anyway that would be great !:)

This is a very gripping piece. The intensity is astounding. Also the imagery just brings the whole piece to life. I can't wait to see how it ends. Take care~Holly
