Girl in my Dream

I saw this girl in my dream

crying through the night

silent tears rolling down her face

i just wanted to say everythings going to be alright

Everyhing she had thought she had is gone

everyone that she had ever loved

and crazily i know how she feels

even though so far i haven't lost much

Sometimes she sits down quietly

no tears coming out of her sad eyes

if it hadn't been for the expression on her face

you couldn't tell she was about to cry

I watched her from a distance

as she walked around the park

i watched as she looked around

though there wasn't much since it was dark

Finally i went up to this girl

to see exactly whats her deal

i wanted to know exactly what she looks like

and why we feel the way we feel

As i look into the eyes of this girl

i ask myself who is this girl in my dream

and suddenly i come into relization

that the girl in my dream is me
