Heartbroken suicide

by dEpReSsEdCuTtEr   Nov 13, 2005

The night she died
was dark and dreary
pouring crimson rain
torn with heartache and weary

she quietly wept
behind the safety of her door
baring the burdens of life
she wanted no more

she remembered that day
and the look in his eye
when he told her it was over
and kissed her goodbye

since then every night
it's been pouring cold rain
and shes been alone crying
for there's just too much pain

calmly she wrote a note
for the few that would care
giving her love and explanation
of why no longer she'd be there

her mom came home late
and found her on the floor
carved across her bloody skin
"no longer can i soar"
