Why do you say it

After every fight you come back and tell me you love me. But yet days go by and you hit me again. Does this mean your love is not true? Do you say you love me just so I won't tell? Please tell me why you say it. I've come to the conclusion you don't mean it but why do you say it? Cause I love you dad, and every time you say it and I know you don't mean it; it just hurts more and more. Maybe I'll just try and stop loving you. Maybe that'll make everything all right? |

Well written poem I believe it takes a lot of courage to share the deep feelings and honest feelings with others. sometimes it helps to know that people care. hugs

Omg....wow....aaron....that made me seriously shiver...it just reminds me of a guy i used to love...ha, probably still do.....he had the same situation....u know, dad and everything? but let me just tell u, i know ur looking for a solution, but please, please.....don't turn to drugs. it was the biggest mistke of his life. this august he attempted suicide. i know they may seem like a way out but they. are. not.
there are others around you that love you nomatter what u have done that always will love u even *sigh*if your dad...isn't one of them. just please listen to me aaron im serious im in tears, u will find a way out of this, and believe me, others around u feel ur pain too. self destruction only hurts those that love you. sometimes they love u more than u do.
ok im done w/ my speech...lol....
u have so much talent...btw i loved the poem. it feels like you're pouring out your soul into it, trust me the readers feel it. great job. here if u ever need to talk(and i didn't scare u away w/ my lecture!)

Good poem, the flow is OK, you have great punctuation and spelling!!! Just my openion from experience, I don't know if you really feel this way, but if you do; try and focus on ood things. If you think negatively you won't be happy, so smile and try to focus on good things in life, even when it is ahrd!!
