I love you and everything, but...

"I love you and everything, but..." you said,
Then my heart just stopped, i felt so dead,
The one word that destroys all of the meaning,
Had finally come, like i have been fearing...

As soon as i heard, i realize it's the end,
No longer in circles, nothing else to mend,
Don't say you love me, because it isn't fair,
For your love is gone, it's no longer there...

"I love you and everything, but" isn't love,
Shouldn't be something one should speak of,
Love is hard to define, but you know what?
I love you isn't love, when followed with but.

*I dedicate this poem to people who had their hearts broken and confused, b/c someone told them i love you, but... this and that!! there are no excuses!!!*
