Society can bestrew certain warmth just like a fantasy,
Yet underneath its sleek surface bellows the less than true.
What you see isnt quite as it is,
Although you may find the odd exception.
Sometimes that surface is broken and you see valid conceptions.
People often tend to cast a superficial shadow,
From in which your label appears narrow and shallow.
Where it starts and where it stops,
Whos to define?
Who to trust and where to draw the line.
In todays society things happen,
like racism, war, poverty, and terrorism.
This is the world we are supposed to care for,
But still we go on by,
Dont bother or take a second to even wonder why.
How can we all consistently complain and yet still not live in shame?
Now dont be mistaken this is only one view,
It may seem dark because its true.
Trust me none of what you see is new,
The world is like one big zoo.
Dont be mislead this poem may resemble dusk,
Life can be auroral,
Even refreshing like dawn.
