Am I?

Am i missing a memory?
or was it you that stole my heart?
and if it was for the best, then why am i falling apart.
Going through the day robotic,
with no true direction in sight,
my mind just keeps rewinding,
back to that very last night.
i know it was me that said goodbye,
it was best, no matter what the cost.
but if its best for everyone,
then why do i feel so lost?
my memory keeps drifting,
back to how it used to be.
and every time i try to move on,
i end up back at you and me.
wherever you are in this world tonight,just know your on my mind.
i love you and i miss you,
cause things like us are hard to find.

    I really like this.I can really relate to this,heartbreakingly so.It's got a strong start, love the first lines and the last line phrased so uniquely, it makes it somewhat unexpected.Some of the lines seem too long(or that could happen in posting-I knew there is little control in the form/shape of posting a poem),the rhyme scheme flows smoothly.And the strongest point is your ability to convey emotion.Very touching, very well written.
