Can you kiss my hand and tell me,
You'll be there?
Can you hold my hand and tell me,
You'll be fair?

Can you sit next to me,
And not hit on me?
Can you look into my eyes,
And know to let me be?

Can you touch my heart,
With only words?
Can you let us fly,
Fly like birds?

Can you miss me,
And mean it?
Can you stand by me,
And never quit?

Can we live together,
As you and me?
Can we be there for each other,
Till the day we can't see?

As friends, never lovers,
Can you, can I, can we together,
Learn our differences,
And never weather?

Can we tell our future?
The stories we did?
The laughs, the games?
The things our parents forbid?

Can we be friends for a life time?
Without a girl or guy, hurt the other,
Can we be there forever?
And be there for one an another?
